CHOOSING THE RIGHT FLOOR PLAN

Pontoon boats wouldn’t be called the most versatile watercraft in the world if they didn’t offer different options for seating arrangements and floor plans, right? Of course not. Especially with the advancements in manufacturing we enjoy today. You can customize your pontoon boat design to fit exactly what you like to do—whether it’s cruising and lounging, socializing, skiing and tubing, or anything else you can do on the water.

A LAYOUT FOR EVERY ACTIVITY

When designing the layout of your pontoon boat, it’s important to determine how you plan to use your boat. Whether you plan to design a boat for a single activity or create a layout that is optimized for several activities, you’ll be able to do it.

CONSIDER THE LENGTH OF THE BOAT

The length of a boat is important for a few reasons.  First, the length of the boat is one of the key considerations in determining the capacity rating of the boat. Additionally, the length of the boat should be considered if you have a dock or a lift that is rated for a certain length, and also if you plan to trailer your pontoon boat at any time.

The New Generation of Manitou pontoons come in different lengths, allowing you to decide how much space you need for seating and storage. The 4 different length options include: 20’, (Cruise model only), 22’, 24’, and 26’ (Explore model only.)

CHOOSE A FLOOR PLAN

With three unique floor plan options and many integrated features, the onboard experience for the new generation of Manitou pontoons has been taken to a whole new level.

Floor plan options include:

  • Bench: This standard floor plan features an extended port bench with chaise, Switchback rear loungers and on Explore models, an optional Trifold bench seat on the starboard side.
  • Switchback: This enhanced floor plan includes a Switchback lounger passenger seat with helm, Switchback rear loungers and on Explore models, a Trifold bench seat on the starboard side.
  • Navigator (available on Explore model): The pinnacle of comfort and control, this floor plan comes with the passenger and driver navigator chairs and individual helms, Switchback rear loungers and the Trifold bench seat on the starboard side.

The New Generation of Manitou pontoons also feature innovative and flexible furniture with a modern and stylish design, paired with high-quality Simtex vinyl that is soft to the touch, easy to clean, and stays cool in the sun. The new floor plans offer Switchback loungers, seats with adjustable backrests that can be flipped forward to create rear-facing seats or backward for forward-facing seats, perfect for lounging at the beach or a cove. And as an optional feature, the Trifold bench, offered on the Switchback and Navigator floor plans, offers 3-in-1 functionality with a seamless transition between a bench, table, and open space.
